What are we likely to find in a Treehouse in the UK?
Inside your treehouse you’ll usually find a warm, wooden rustic or contemporary interior:
- Comfortable double beds, twin beds and separate bedroom areas for kids
- Large windows looking out into the trees or forest
- Seating or lounge area
- Kitchen or kitchenette with fridge, hob and all cooking utensils
- Dining table and chairs
- Private bathrooms with bath or shower
The outdoor setting is a large part of the experience! Because treehouses are raised on stilts, many will have balconies or decks, giving you views across woodland or countryside.
Where can I stay in a treehouse in the UK?
If you are after a bit of luxury pick a treehouse with a hot tub out on deck. Mallinsons Woodland Retreat have extra special retreats for couples, celebrations and mini moons near Lyme Regis, with copper baths on deck!
Wootton Park in Warwickshire offers the first ever treepod! They sit 10 feet up on stilts in the trees with private hot tub on the decking and expansive views of the countryside around. Norfolk has the fantastic West Lexham with various accommodation in the trees along side a swimming pool.
If you fancy a trip to Scotland with views of the forest and wildlife look at Craighead Wee Tree Howf in Perthshire sleeping 2 adults with hot tub. For a more family friendly space we have Harvest Moon Holidays sleeping up to 8 people in a fantastic treehouse space.
Treehouses are a unique stay for families, groups and couples.
