Perched high-up in its own secluded 2-acre field and including a king size bed and hot tub, our shepherd’s hut offers the perfect romantic getaway.
Plenty of stunning walking trails are on our doorstep and the historic town of Dolgellau and seaside town of Barmouth are both just 6 miles away.
The Space
Located in its own secluded 2-acre field with uninterrupted 180-degree views of the surrounding hills, Cader Idris and the Mawddach Estuary, Hen Gwt Glowyr (Old Miners Hut) allows you to totally immerse yourself in the wild beauty of southern Snowdonia.
Our brand-new Shepherd’s hut has been equipped both stylishly and comfortably, featuring:

The Sheppard’s hut is located in a secluded clearing featuring:

For your convenience we provide bedding, towels, Faith in Nature soap and body wash. We also provide tea, coffee, milk, orange juice, porridge and muesli sachets so you can relax as soon as you arrive.
For the fire pit we also provide logs and fire lighters.
Guest Access
From your private parking space, a 40 metre stone footpath (illuminated at night) leads you to a gate and down to the Shepherd’s hut.
