Nyth Robin Glamping Campsite in Snowdonia Wales
Nyth Robin is just outside of the pretty seaside village of Aberdovey (Aberdyfi in Welsh), on the West coast of Wales, and within Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. We’re a picturesque and small glamping site set in our secluded woodland. We offer a friendly welcome with a choice of unique glamping accommodation, from a handcrafted yurt to a cosy woodland cabin.
Nyth Robin is a peaceful location for your holiday with woodlands, lakes and streams. There’s plenty of space to unwind at Nyth Robin and both kids and dogs enjoy exploring our woodland!
COSY WOODLAND CABIN – Sleeps 2 people
Our gorgeous, rustic cabin is the perfect place for a romantic glamping getaway for two. Our cabin is called Gwdihw (Welsh for owl), and is perched up in the woods, providing a secluded setting for your glamping getaway. Your stay includes:
- Proper double bed with bedding & towels
- Woodburner inside
- Well-equipped rustic camp kitchen
- Private outside decking with firepit
- Small to medium-sized dog welcome
- ‘Ensuite’ compost loo
QUIRKY HORSEBOX – Sleeps 2 adults plus children
Betty is a converted horse lorry, so not your average glamping stay! There’s a cosy double bed above the cab and 2 bunk bed singles for extra guests. Betty is great for couples or families wanting a holiday with a difference and your stay includes:

- Well-equipped kitchenette
- Private outside space with firepit
- 1 dog welcome
DERWEN DOME – Sleeps up to 4 Adults plus children
Derwen is a 7m GeoDome that sits in its own private area. Our Dome is well insulated, and there’s a woodburner inside, so you’ll be comfortable whatever the weather, whatever the season! Inside you’ll find
- Super king-sized bed, which can be made into 2 singles for friends
- Triple bunk for an extra 3 guests
- Sofa beds for additional guests
- Bedding and towels provided
- Dog friendly, with two dogs welcome
Your undercover well well-equipped camp kitchen is just outside with seating and has all you need to make simple meals. There is also a Fire pit and seating area, great for stargazing and marshmallow toasting.
SPACIOUS YURT – Sleeps up to 4 Adults and 2 children
Bert the Yurt is a spacious, flexible space with a comfy king bed and sofas beds, so there’s plenty of room for up to 6 people (max 4 adults). Perfect for families wanting to try glamping, a romantic retreat or a getaway with friends. Bert includes:
- King-sized bed
- 2 Singles and a sofa bed
- Woodburner inside
- Well-equipped camp kitchen
- Private outside decking with firepit
- 2 Dogs welcome
VINTAGE CARAVAN – Sleeps up to 3 people
Cerys is a vintage caravan with a one-off hand-painted scenic exterior and bespoke hand-crafted stylish interior. With a firepit outside and a heater inside, you’ll be cosy whatever the weather. Cerys includes:
- Proper double bed with bedding & towels
- Pull-out small single suitable for little ones up to age 10
- Seating, well-equipped kitchenette with fridge
- Electric and heater
- Undercover seating and kitchen outside
- Private outside area with firepit
BELL TENT – Sleep up to 4 people
Our fabulous bell tent is set up on a woodland terrace, for a glamping stay immersed in nature. Included with your bell tent:
- Proper double bed with bedding & towels
- Extra futon beds for little ones
- Well-equipped camp kitchen
- Outside under-cover seating and table
- Coolbox with ice blocks
- Firepit and grill
- 2 dogs welcome
GLAMPING SITE FACILITIES
SHOWERS AND TOILETS
All our glamping accommodation has access to our excellent shower and toilet facilities. We’re eco-friendly too, with flushing composting toilets (no cups of sawdust needed) and solar-heated hot water with backup for cloudier days!
PIZZA
We’ve have an on-site wood-fired pizza oven. In the school holidays and bank holiday weekends, most Saturday nights are pizza night! We also do pizzas on busy Saturdays, so get in touch to see if they are happening during your stay.
LOCAL AREA OF ABERDYFI AND BEYOND
Nyth Robin is just 3 miles from Aberdyfi. With a large sandy beach that stretches up the Dyfi Estuary to join the coast of Cardigan Bay, it’s great for a day on the beach and you’ll find plenty of traditional seaside activities such as crabbing off the pier, delicious local ice cream and great fish & chips.
Away from a spot of sunbathing, there’s lots to do including:
- Some great walks to suit all abilities, including the Welsh Coastal Path and hiking to the top of nearby Cadair Idris for spectacular views. Or Yr Waddfa/ Mount Snowdon, Wales’s highest mountain is about an hour’s drive
- Aberdyfi has both sailing and golf clubs, and the estuary is great for kayaking and windsurfing
- Off-road mountain bike trails in Dyfi forest and Coed Y Brenin
- The Tal-Y-Llyn steam railway
- Take the Cambrian coast train line from Aberdyfi or Machynlleth to Pwllheli and enjoy the breathtaking views as the train hugs the Cardigan Bay coastline. This journey has recently been picked by The Guardian as one of the top 10 epic train journeys in the world
- Potter around the neighbouring market town of Machynlleth with market day on a Wednesday
- At Corris Caverns, you’ll find underground attractions and above ground storytelling maze, unique craft studios, multi-award-winning Gin Distillery, and a welcoming café.
- Jump around underground with cave trampolining at Bounce Below or zoom down Europe’s longest zip line

Prices from £80 per night for 2 people.
Extra guests £18 a night and dogs £12 per stay
Minimum 2 nights stay, 3 nights on bank holidays.
School Holidays arrivals only on Monday, with a 4-night minimum stay, and Fridays with a minimum 3-night stay
