There is so much to see and do in the Lake District. Visiting Lake Windermere is a must, whether it’s taking a boat trip or walking along the shore. Grasmere is perfect for a gentle stroll and a stop at a local café, while Keswick has some excellent independent shops including boutique gift shops, art galleries and eateries.
Take in Derwentwater and it’s nearby walking trails and places like Buttermere and Rydal Water provide peaceful views and uncrowded paths.
