We’ve been listing glamping sites for over 15 years, and come the colder months the question we hear most is simple: which ones have a hot tub?
There’s something about a proper lodge or cabin – solid walls, a real bed, a kitchen and your own bathroom, and a hot tub on the deck for the end of the day. It’s the glamping stay that works in any season, and it’s one of the most searched-for breaks in the UK.
We love a lodge out of season: crisp, bright days, cosy nights, a long soak under the stars and marshmallows toasting round the firepit.
Every place below is a genuine lodge or wooden cabin (no tents, no pods) with a hot tub, and every one takes bookings directly with the owners. Here are 10 of our favourites across England and Wales.
What to look for in a lodge with a hot tub
- A private tub, or a shared one? Most here are private to your lodge. Where a hot tub or spa is shared or bookable by the hour, we’ve said so.
- Electric or wood fired? A wood-fired tub is part of the fun but takes a while to heat, so ask how long and whether logs are included. Electric tubs are ready when you are. Our tip: light a wood-fired tub as soon as you arrive, not when you fancy a soak, as some take a couple of hours to get properly hot.
- Who it sleeps – Lodges range from romantic cabins for two to family lodges for six.
- Dogs – Some welcome dogs and some don’t. We’ve noted it where the listing says.
- Dates – Many lodges are open all year, but always check with the owner before you plan around a particular week.

Lodges and cabins with hot tubs: FAQs
What’s the difference between a lodge and a glamping pod?
A lodge or cabin is a proper timber building, usually with a separate bedroom, a kitchen and its own bathroom. A pod is smaller and simpler, often one room. All ten places in this article are lodges or cabins.
Are the hot tubs private?
Most of the lodges here have their own private hot tub. At Cae Lal the Wild Spa is booked by the hour, and at Coastal Cabins two cabins have a hot tub, so check which one you’re booking.
Can I bring my dog?
Hoe Grange, Brackenhill’s Cabin, Coastal Cabins (Village Cabins), White House Hideaway and Lower Hill list themselves as dog-friendly. Owl Cabin at Hinton Hideaways is adults-only with no pets. Always check with the owner.
How do I book?
Every site on Love Glamping takes bookings directly, with no booking fees from us. Use the Book Direct button or enquiry form on each listing.
