The Little Vintage Village Singleton near Blackpool
Three beautifully restored vintage caravans, tucked away on a working farm in the Lancashire countryside — and just a short drive from Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. The Little Vintage Village sits at Singleton Grange Farm near Poulton-le-Fylde, where a handful of characterful caravans are dotted around a quiet field with a pond, a deck to sit out on and horses grazing over the fence. It is a deliberately simple, unplugged sort of place. The site is completely off-grid, so there are no electric hook-ups and no televisions competing with the view — just a firepit, a flask of tea and the sound of the countryside.
Each caravan has its own name and its own personality. Dorothy is the largest and sleeps four, Pink Lady sleeps three, and little Bonnie is a cosy two-berth that suits couples perfectly. All three have been lovingly restored inside, with proper beds, soft furnishings and their own outdoor space to spread out in.
What makes this one different is the balance. You get the charm and the quiet of a proper rural retreat, and yet the Blackpool illuminations, the beach and all the family attractions of the Fylde Coast are only minutes down the road. It is a genuinely lovely base for a couple wanting somewhere different, or a family who want the seaside one day and campfire the next.
FACILITIES
The shared facilities here live inside a converted horsebox, which is exactly as charming as it sounds — and it holds everything you need.
- A converted horsebox, shared between guests offers communal kitchen, shower and toilet
- The Tuck Shop — the check-in point and a spot to pick up essentials and treats during your stay. Usually open 9:30am–11:00am and 4:00pm–6:00pm
- Communal firepit — the main firepit sits between the vintage caravans, and it is where everyone tends to end up as the light goes
- Pond and deck — a peaceful spot to sit out beside the water
- Open field — plenty of room to stretch your legs
- Horses on site — you are staying on a working farm, and the horses are part of the scenery
- Fully off-grid — please note there are no electric hook-ups anywhere on the site

ACTIVITIES AND OPTIONAL EXTRAS (2026 prices below)
- Firepit hire for your own pitch — available, just ask when you book
- Fishing-rod hire — £10 for 2 hours
- Rowing-boat hire — £10 for 2 hours
- Horse or pony ride — £15 for 20 minutes
- Early check-in from 1:30pm — £10, subject to availability
- Late check-out until 12:30pm — £10, subject to availability
- Fishing-rod hire, rowing-boat hire and horse or pony rides must be booked at least 48 hours before you arrive and are subject to availability.
Good to know: check-in is from 2:30pm at the Tuck Shop and check-out is by 11:00am.
A refundable £10 cash security deposit is taken on arrival for caravan stays and returned when you leave, provided there is no damage.
Dogs are welcome. The first dog stays free and any additional dogs are £3 each. Dogs need to stay on a lead around the site, but there is an open field where they can run off-lead. Owners are asked to clean up after them.
CAMPING TOO
If you would rather bring your own tent, there are 20 off-grid pitches here as well, set in the same quiet countryside setting.
Pitches are £30 per night, which covers up to 2 adults and 2 children. Extra adults are £5 per night and extra children £3. BBQs and fire pits are permitted, and firepit hire is available if you would like one — just mention it when you book.
Campers share the same communal kitchen, shower and toilet inside the converted horsebox. As with the caravans, the camping field is entirely off-grid, so there are no electric hook-ups — do come prepared.
There is also one Ready-Made Tent available at £60 per night including the pitch, sleeping up to 2 adults and 2 children. It is pitched and set up ready for you to arrive — you just bring your own bedding. Only one is available, so book early if you fancy camping without the faff.
LOCAL AREA AND THINGS TO DO
You are in a peaceful rural pocket of Lancashire, but the coast is close enough for easy days out.
- Blackpool and the Fylde Coast — beaches, the Pleasure Beach, the Tower, the illuminations in season and no shortage of family attractions and entertainment, all within easy reach.
- Countryside walks — quiet lanes and open countryside on the doorstep, with plenty of walking routes nearby.
- Nearby villages — Singleton and Poulton-le-Fylde are close by for a pub lunch or a wander.
- The pond and grounds — some of the best of it is right where you are staying. Sit by the water, watch the light change over the fields and do very little at all.
