Mill Valley Yurts in Cornwall is the perfect place for glamping and no hotel room or apartment will give you the sense of happiness in firing up your wood burner, getting dinner cooking on top of it, standing in a half whiskey barrel with a wood fired shower pumping out hot water, listening to owls at night and sitting around your camp fire. Our handcrafted off-grid, rustic accommodation is magic.

THE MAGIC MUSHROOM
The Magic Mushroom is a simple handcrafted space constructed entirely from local timber that we milled ourselves. It is set in it’s own private garden it has a comfy double bed, a wood burner, a few book shelves, candles and an old seed drill as a centre piece that we reclaimed from our farm.

This is a place to take a step back from the tech of modern life and really let yourself unwind. Just outside you will find a small treehouse which can serve as a kids bedroom with the roll mats provided or a day space to lounge around in. You have your own private BBQ and your own composting loo!

THE WOODLAND CABIN
A rustic, handmade cabin where you can escape technology, spend the day exploring beautiful coastline and return to fall asleep to the sound of the tawny owls and the peaceful weir below. The Woodland Cabin is handmade entirely from local and up cycled wood where everything has a story.

There is a chunky ladder which leads to a mezzanine floor where you will find your double bed. The wood burner downstairs warms the cabin and there is a sofa for snuggling by the fire. The Cabin has a private deck overlooking ancient oak woodland which in Spring is a sea of blue bells and wild garlic.

THE STUMPY
The handcrafted hobbit hut in the woods at Mill Valley looks almost like it grew right where you find it, which in one sense it did. A living ash tree sits in the middle of this cosy, rustic cabin and it’s circular door sprung up around it is formed with reclaimed wood.

Settle into the slow life and the rhythms of off grid living as you light the wood burning stove for morning tea, the BBQ or the pizza oven for dinner and candles for long romantic evenings. The Stumpy is tucked away and you have your own private outdoor covered dining area.

THE CORNISH YURT
Behind the grass cloaked roof and round door a quirky space awaits. This handmade wooden yurt appears to have grown up from the land and was created using only reclaimed or recycled materials which include an elm floor and oak dining table that seats six.

After a long walk on Bodmin moor, settle down into a big pile of cushions and warm your pasties in the toasty Rayburn. After dark, stoke the fire pit and sizzle sausages on the BBQ as you dine by the light of the candles and the moon. Leave your devices in the car and enjoy a digital detox. This is the perfect place to finish a book (or start writing your own!).

There is space for 4 children. The yurt includes one double bed and two double futon beds and. A travel cot can be provided.

THE PIXIE YURT
A unique, handmade wooden creation with magical, ancient woodland on your doorstep. With tapering walls, reclaimed portholes and a clear crown the Pixie Yurt is a wooden wonder. Inside you can pop the kettle on the wood burner for tea and outside get something sizzling over the campfire for dinner as you settle into a gentler pace of life.

Included is one double bed and two single futon beds.

THE BEAR HUT
The Bear Hut is a unique and cosy wooden den which has been created using oak, Douglas fir and sycamore. With a large wood burner with oven inside perfect for warming pasties after a day out on the beach!

It has a comfy double bed on where you can relax and read a book in peace. There is also one double futon bed. Outside there is a private covered kitchen area where you can get the fire going to make a morning coffee.

The Bear Hut has an added option of using a treehouse for the children to sleep in and have their own adventure at only £10 per night.
Hibernate in the Bear Hut and enjoy a slower pace of life.
