And there’s no need to venture far to find great food and plenty to do. Right here at Tapnell Farm, you’ll find The Cow Restaurant & Bar, serving up delicious dishes with something for everyone, including our award winning burgers! As well as each unit having their own cooking facilities, we also have a communal wood fired pizza oven, firepits and electric BBQS to enjoy.
There’s also Tapnell Farm Park, one of the Isle of Wight’s biggest all-weather attractions, complete with café and gift shop. For even more adventure, take your pick from Padel and Pickleball, Aqua Park, Football Golf, Clay Pigeon Shooting, or slow things down with some well-earned relaxation at SloMo Wellness. As evening falls, sit back and watch spectacular sunsets before making the most of our wonderfully dark skies for a spot of stargazing.

Nestled within Tapnell Spinney at the heart of Tapnell Farm, our spacious Safari Tents combine the adventure of sleeping under canvas with plenty of home comforts.
Sheltered by the surrounding woodland from the prevailing south-westerly winds, each tent enjoys beautiful panoramic views across the countryside and out to sea.
Cook and eat together using your own log-burning range cooker, electric BBQ or campfire, or make use of our communal pizza oven. When it’s time to turn in, super-comfy beds with electric blankets make for a cosy night’s sleep, while your own private shower and WC mean there’s no need to compromise on comfort.

Wake up to rolling countryside and spectacular views across the Solent from our striking Geodesic Domes.
A large clear panel at the front brings the outside in, giving you a front-row seat to the ever-changing landscape and some truly memorable Isle of Wight sunsets.
Inside, the spacious open-plan living and sleeping area centres around a beautiful king-size four-poster bed, with a separate bunk area for younger guests. There’s also a cosy lounge with a log burner, a generous fully equipped kitchen and adjoining private en-suite facilities.
Standing four metres high, the Domes feel wonderfully light and spacious. They’re insulated for added comfort, while electric blankets on the beds will keep you cosy when the temperature drops.
Step outside and you’ll find your own space to relax, cook and enjoy those incredible views.

Spacious, comfortable and open all year round, our Wood Cabins are ideal for larger families and groups looking for a countryside escape with all the comforts of home.
Fully insulated and heated, each Cabin sleeps up to 10 guests across three private bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the open-plan living area.
Large windows make the most of the breathtaking West Wight landscape, with views towards Tennyson Down, the Tennyson Monument and Freshwater Bay.
At the heart of each Cabin is a generous open-plan kitchen, dining and living space – perfect for cooking, eating and relaxing together. Outside, your private decked terrace provides the perfect spot for a BBQ while taking in the surrounding countryside.

The Isle of Wight may be small, but there’s an incredible amount to discover. Famous for its spectacular coastline, rich history, world-class sailing and fantastic local produce, the Island is packed with places to explore, experiences to enjoy and plenty of reasons to return.
Steeped in history, the Island is home to Osborne House, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert’s much-loved seaside residence, as well as picturesque towns and villages, historic landmarks and some truly breathtaking scenery.
One of the best things about Island life is that you’re never far from the sea. With miles of beautiful coastline and beaches to explore, there’s something for everyone – whether you want to walk, cycle, sail, surf, paddle, swim, play on the sand or simply sit back and enjoy the view.
Two of our local favourites are Compton Bay, with its sweeping sandy beach and spectacular sunsets, and Freshwater Bay, surrounded by dramatic cliffs and some of the West Wight’s most beautiful countryside.
And if good food is part of your perfect getaway, you’re in the right place. The Isle of Wight has a thriving local food and drink scene, with country pubs, independent cafés, farm shops, vineyards and restaurants showcasing fantastic Island produce.
