Glamping Scotland with Hot Tub
Air-Pods is located at airhouses, an organic working farm set deep in the Scottish countryside yet easily accessible from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle.
The Pods are nestled into a spacious field with glorious views over the farm to the hills beyond. With only two pods in the field there is plenty of space, privacy and tranquility to enjoy. Each has their own private Hot Tub.
The Pods
The Pods are from a local award wining company who have designed beautiful yet functional glamping pods. They are compact but full of comforts such as air-conditioning in The Hawthorn, under-floor heating in The Rowan. Both have LED mood lights, Smart TVs, excellent 5G wifi and ensuites. They are as luxurious as they are beautiful.
The Hawthorn has air-conditioning, a full glass door and a huge circular window out the back. It has a small decking area, hot tub, outdoor table and chairs and a BBQ. It has a king sized bed, a small seating area and a kitchen area – sink, electric hob and microwave, toaster and kettle. There is an ensuite shower and toilet.
The Rowan has underfloor heating, a king sized bed that can be made into a seating area with table, a small kitchen area of a toaster, kettle and sink. There is a large decking area outside, a hot tub, table and chairs and your very own hobbit style BBQ hut.
Nearly everything is included in your stay at airhouses including the use of high quality linens, towels, hot tub towels, dressing gowns, slippers and toiletries. The kitchenette area and BBQs are well stocked. The only thing we recommend is some wellies for serious countryside fun!
The Pods also have access also to a facilities hut with a larger fridge, freezer, washing machine and drying area. This space can be used to store muddy walking gear and bikes.
On the farm
Here at airhouses you can explore our farm by fenced walks, use our small farm shop and freezer section containing locally made meals and ice creams. You can do out 5k treasure trail or go and pet the animals including alpacas, chickens, goats, pigs, shetland ponies, sheep and horses. You can book a spa treatment by a high quality local spa therapist, or hire Ebikes to be delievered to your pod. We have so many choices so you can make your holiday exactly what you want it to be.
Location
We are 40min from Edinburgh, but a world away. The Scottish Borders is a delightful area of Scotland steeped in history and cultural. There are many ancient castles to explore, historic houses to visits and great restaurants to try. We send you out an app before arrival with all the best things to see and do locally so you can begin planning your trip before you even arrive.
We are dog friendly here at airhouses, but please be aware the Pods are not huge so can’t take more than 1 large dog or 2 small dogs. We have a dog charter on our website available to read.

The Rowan Pod
“We had a fabulous family break at Airhouses. It was a relaxing, peaceful and beautiful place to stay, with lots for children to explore.
My eight year old had the best time and fell in love with all the animals. The owners were incredibly welcoming and organised super Easter activities, including meeting chicks and making willow nests. The pop-up coffee shop was great.
The Rowan pod was luxurious and clever, with everything we needed and toasty warm underfloor heating. There was a lovely welcome pack which was much appreciated. We had fun toasting marshmallows in the BBQ hut too.
Other favourite activities included feeding the animals, visiting the nearby Roman museum and stargazing from the hot tub. We made so many happy memories here and we’d 100% recommend a stay at Airhouses.”

The Hawthorn Pod
“My wife and I stayed at the Hawthorn pod for a rare weekend away from the children. I literally can not express enough how much we enjoyed our stay. When we first drove upto the pod we thought it looked very small but when we got inside it was surprisingly spacious, with everything you would need and more. The pod was so nice and relaxing and the hot tub was amazing (despite the weather) we loved walking around the grounds and meeting all the animals.
We met Damien and his lovely wife and they were so friendly, welcoming and helpful.
We can’t wait to come back.
