The Bru Bus at Bracken Barns Glamping South Ayrshire

Discover one of Scotland’s most unique glamping experiences — staying in a beautifully converted bus on the stunning Ayrshire Coast in Scotland. Bracken Barns is a small, family-run eco glamping site where couples, families and small groups can get away from it all and reconnect with nature, without giving up the comforts of home.  The Bru Bus is the ultimate family glamping retreat in Scotland!

As proud certified members of the UNESCO Biosphere, we’re passionate about sustainable, off-grid living — and we’ve created a little slice of paradise on our farm to help you explore one of Scotland’s most breathtaking coastlines.

A Genuine Off-Grid Glamping Experience
Bracken Barns is an eco-conscious site at heart, which means our solar electricity and Wi-Fi can occasionally be on the quieter side — and we think that’s part of the charm. Glamping in a converted bus in Scotland is all about slowing down, breathing in the fresh Ayrshire air, and embracing a little of the off-grid life. Think of it less as an inconvenience and more as part of the adventure.
