Stackstead Farm Glamping, Ingleton, North Yorkshire, Lancashire Border
Stackstead Farm is a family-run glamping and camping site in The Yorkshire Dales and on the North Yorkshire and Lancashire border. Situated approximately one mile from the picturesque village of Ingleton we are just a five minute walk from the nearest pub. Here you will find panoramic views of Ingleborough and some of the most beautiful limestone countryside in the country.
If you love camping but can’t be bothered to set up and take down the tent our camping pod could be just the thing for you! Or perhaps choose our beautiful Shepherds Hut for a cosy stay for 2.
SHEPHERDS HUT
Set in its own private garden with lovely farmland views, our shepherd’s hut is the ideal place for a couple to relax and unwind whilst still having access to the rest of the facilities on site. With cast iron wheels, solid oak chassis and Siberian larch cladding, the hut really fits in well with the surrounding countryside. To top it all off the log burner and underfloor heating make the hut the cosiest place to be, all year round.
The Shepherds Hut includes:
- Well-equipped kitchenette with mini fridge, hob, toaster etc
- Indoor sitting area with TV and DVD player
- Log burner

- Comfortable double bed that can be hidden in the wall during the day
- En suite bathroom

GLAMPING PODS
We have 5 family sized glamping pods, 3 named after the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks and 2 after our local dales. All the pods include underfloor heating, wifi and electric are warm, dry and cosy all year round! Our pods vary in size and amenities, so please make sure you choose one that’s right for you.

WHAT TO BRING
We recommend that you bring everything you would need for camping, minus the tent. These include such things as camping stove, cooking equipment, cutlery, bedding, pillows, sleeping bags and air beds if necessary.
Dogs are very welcome, but they must be kept on leads at all times due to our free to roam hens.
OUR LEISURE CENTRE
Take the time to enjoy our on site leisure centre with 15 meter indoor swimming pool, small gymnasium, relaxing spa
and sauna.
Please note there is an entrance fees for guests staying at Stackstead Farm from £8 per adult and £4 per child per hour. We operate a booking system so guests (and members) must book in advance prior to using the facilities.

IN AND AROUND INGLETON, THE YORKSHIRE DALES
Enjoy the following activities in and around Ingelton
- Ingleton with shops, pubs, cafes, Ingleton pottery studio, riverside walks and a cycle pump track
- Ingleton Waterfalls Trail – A 2-4 hour circular walk passing through ancient woodlands and rocky gorges to view falls like Thornton Force and Pecca Falls
- Ingleborough Cave, a show cave near Clapham
- Ingleton Open Air Heated Pool – a community-run outdoor swimming pool open during summer months, great for families
- White Scar Cave, known as the longest show cave in Britain, offering underground tours
- Ribblehead Viaduct
- The area is also ideal for walking and cycling including hiking any part of the Three Peaks including Ingleborough and Whernside
CAMPING PITCHES
Our 4 acre, lawned site has 5 private CL pitches and 36 seasonal touring caravan pitches with a small camping area for tents. Free wifi is available throughout the site. Please note that the camping pitches are slightly sloping. We are open all year. Camping from £10 – £30 pn dependent on tent size.
