Home Farm Camping near Blanford Forum Dorset
Home Farm Camping is nestled in the village of Tarrant Gunville between Salisbury and Blandford Forum Dorset. Our site offers boutique bell tents and yurts as well as regular camping and motorhome pitches situated on our rural working farm. On site you will find Home Farm Shop and our award winning tearoom.
Our specialities are exclusive glamping hen weekends, however we welcome everyone from families to couples looking for a romantic getaway, group bookings and corporate bookings. In 2018 we won the Wedding Extra category in The Dorset Wedding Supplier Awards.
We can arrange a variety of activities both on and off site so you can indulge in as much or as little rest and relaxation as you like. We have on site bell tent and yurts, showers and toilets as well as our established farm shop and tearoom offering wood fired pizzas in the summer to afternoon teas to a full English breakfast as well as many other delights so you can sit back and relax and be really catered for.
Whatever you choose to do during your visit, you can end the day stargazing by your own log fire.

Our Bell Tents are furnished and include

YURT TENTS
The ‘Copse’ and the ‘Glebe’ were built locally following a traditional Mongolian design and set apart from each other so you will never feel rushed or crowded. Each yurt is built on raised wooden platforms. Yurts are an amazing experience for children and we aim to be as child friendly as possible, travel cots available on request, but please could you bring your own bedding for these including sheets.
The ‘Copse’ sleeps 4-5 and is equipped to offer a comfortable yet simple way of life, it is decorative and comfortably furnished with futons, wood burner and cutlery. Bed linen and duvets are also included.
The ‘Glebe’ sleeps 2-3 and is furnished as above with double and single futon. Bed linen and duvets are also included.

THE YURT KITCHEN
Near the Yurts is your own shared kitchen area consists of kitchen units, two camping cookers, pots, pans and utensil’s.
If however you don’t fancy cooking then just a stones throw away is Home Farm Shop, Why not choose something from the amazing, mouthwatering menu in Abigail’s Kitchen, that includes full Farmhouse English breakfast, light lunches and afternoon teas. And if you are feeling really lazy after a busy day exploring, why not look through the specials menu and have dinner delivered to your yurt door!

HEN PARTIES – THE ULTIMATE GIRLS WEEKEND
With our award winning farm shop and tearooms on-site. Abi and her team can offer a cooked breakfast for the duration of your stay, a fantastic evening meal for the hens that don’t fancy burnt burgers or a traditional English Afternoon Tea ready and waiting for you on arrival, complete with vintage china, scones and cakes. For those of you brave enough to ‘cook it yourself’, BBQs and fire pits are supplied, please enquire for BBQ list and Salads.
Our large Emperor Tent is also available for hire and is perfect for communal activities where you can all get together in a large space and chill, why not make the wedding favours, play games, or just relax with a few glasses of wine from the farm shop!

Hens@Home Farm will only accommodate up to 2 hen parties at any given weekend, single hen parties with over 18 hens will have exclusive use of the site , meaning you will have full use of the facilities, which include showers, toilets, a BBQ shelter/area, plenty of countryside walks and of course, as much Dorset fresh air as you can inhale!
