Glamping in Stratford-upon-Avon, just on the edge of the Cotswolds
Riverside Park is the perfect place for a glamping pod holiday. Located in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside on the banks of the River Avon, we are a true haven for nature lovers.
Situated adjacent to the village of Tiddington, approximately 1 mile from Stratford upon Avon and just 20 minutes to the Cotswolds, it is the ideal base for your holiday.
We pride ourselves with the David Bellamy gold award, having the advantage of open fields where you can relax by the river or play games with the children. Spot wildlife around the park with Swans and Ducks being regular visitors and keep your eyes peeled for Kingfishers, Buzzards, Woodpeckers and Heron.
Facilities at Riverside Park
The stunning Riverside Venue stands tall on the riverbank with panoramic views of the River Avon and the Welcombe Hills beyond. Enjoy sitting on the large al fresco balcony and soak up the beautiful views for a refreshing drink or a delicious meal.
To keep the children entertained, there’s crazy golf, a children’s play area and a multi-sports pitch. Dogs are welcome on the park but they need to be kept on leads at all times. There is also a large dog walking area that visitors can enjoy.
A Bowling green is available for visitors to use on our adjacent park – Rayford Park.
The popular river taxi service is available daily throughout the season (weather permitting) offering a picturesque journey into Stratford-upon-Avon. There is a small charge for this service which usually runs from 10am to 5pm (check times on arrival) between the site and Stratford upon Avon.
There is a mile and a half of free fishing on the River Avon for guests who are staying at Riverside Park. The fishing season is from the 16th June to 16th March, a rod license is required. Perch, Bream, Roach, Chub, Barbel and Pike are among the catches.
We have a range of beautiful glamping pods available, including Beehives, Snugs and Log Pods. Each pod will sleep up to a maximum of 4 people, with a sofa bed and bunk beds. The wooden clad pods are well insulated with double glazed windows and doors, offering both comfort and security, so you can stay cosy whatever the weather. Each pod comes with a small fridge, heater, USB ports and electric. Patio table and chairs will be set out on the decking for you to enjoy the sunshine.
These larch wood snugs are named so because of the extra insulation and solid roof that helps keeps you snuggled up warmly – no matter what the weather.
The beehives are a fully insulated wood clad design with pine interior to retain a light spacious atmosphere.
Our log-pods are a quirky base for your stay at Stratford Parks. With a round entrance window/door and portholes in the roofline they’ve been designed with families in mind but also appeal to those with a sense of adventure and young at heart.
There is an allocated parking space for each pod and use of a private shower block and washing up facilities.
