Sleeping up to four people, Tor Lodge offers a luxurious king size bed and a separate bijou twin room, both of which are equipped with ample storage space via modern fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets.
The kitchen has a modern gas cooker and large, family-friendly fridge-freezer, always useful for storing delicious foods and beverages when dining in or out al-fresco style, soaking up the country air and again, those intoxicating views!
The lounge area offers two gorgeous comfy leather sofas which are perfect for viewing the large screen tv provided although to be honest, it will be difficult to resist opening up the French doors that lead you to the private decking area and again, towards those salivating views!
Feel warm and cosy at all times in Tor Lodge thanks to its central heating system.
Tor Lodge continues its theme of being eco-friendly via the provision of a food waste bin with food waste bags provided, LED lighting together with the recycling point conveniently positioned in the car parking area.
Plug sockets remain minimal as a means of Oak Tree Lane’s universal approach to preserving energy.
Enjoy a pizza night at Oaktree-Lane
We have been busy creating what we would call a rustic Pizzeria for all guests staying on-site to enjoy! No need to worry about the weather as the Pizzeria will be under a canopy enabling both your delicious pizza and yourself to stay warm and dry! Come and enjoy this atmospheric experience, fill your tummies with delicious pizza and enjoy the ambience of this unique environment completed with twinkling lights. And all this accessible only a few steps from your holiday unit! BELLISSIMA!! With a traditional clay oven, come on down from your holiday unit and watch your pizza be prepared and cooked and choose your own selection of delicious toppings!

Facilities
All our accommodation units come with its own private decking area, carefully placed to make sure you can see for miles around and boasting completely unspoilt views in every direction. A BBQ completes the set-up, perfect for hazy warm summer evenings dining al fresco, and amazing star-gazing after dark.
Fresh eggs and our own free range home grown produce is available to buy on-site, rain-water is collected and re-used, and solar power and LED lighting is used where possible around the site, with minimal electricity use.
Recycling points are provided across the farm for the use of guests; this significantly reduces the amount of waste that goes into landfill. Food waste is also gathered and composted.
Locally, there is plenty to see and do, and Oaktree Lane is ideally located with easy access to both Devon and Cornwall. The only thing you need to decide is where you’ll head first and how you’ll fit it all in!!
LIFE ON THE FARM
Oak Tree-Lane is a family run farm with livestock of pigs and sheep. It also accommodates a fine selection of poultry including turkeys, geese and hens, all of which can wonder freely in their designated fields. Of course, we must not forget the farm cat, Snowy! Young budding farmers are able to enjoy much of the farm during their stay and help feed the animals.
Oak Tree-Lane proudly offers the sale of its own eggs, lovingly laid daily by our happy hens. We also offer the sale of a fine selection of home-grown meats of pork and lamb, so whether you fancy a sausage sandwich, an egg and bacon banjo or even a treat of a joint of meat to roast, guests can be reassured that it doesn’t come any more home grown than this as all meat sold has been lovingly grown on site!
LOCATION AND THINGS TO DO IN DEVON
Oak Tree Lane is located just off the A30 between Launceston and Okehampton on the Devon/Cornwall border. Surrounded by the lush green Devonshire countryside, it is conveniently situated a mile from Roadford Lake Country Park. With over 730 acres of water, Roadford Lake has something genuine to offer all those that visit and is the largest lake for watersports in the South West. At the lake you can enjoy a range of activities both on and off the water including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, high ropes, climbing and archery. Or simply just relax with a delicious cream tea and enjoy the view.
Oak Tree-Lane is ideally located since it is an hours’ drive for both the North and South Devon coastlines. Cornwall is only a twenty minute drive away with the Eden Project being a pleasant hours’ journey across Bodmin Moor. And to compliment all this, National Trust properties are in an abundance here; ideal for guests whom enjoy this activity.

MONGOLIAN YURTS
Set within a tranquil valley in the heart of West Devon, each Yurt stands tall on a wooden deck, nestled into the hillside in its own private area, with generous space to explore, adventure and unwind. A Yurt is a traditional Mongolian tent consisting of wooden lattice walls, an insulating felt layer and a heavy waterproof canvas over the top. Our Yurts have been hand crafted in Mongolia by traditional Mongolian Yurt builders and each one is bespoke.
The Yurt will accommodate a maximum of six people and are equipped with a comfy double bed, a double day bed and 2 single futons. Coir matting and rugs have been provided to keep your tootsies warm, along with a central log burner, enabling you to feel warm and cosy at all times.
CAMPING PITCHES
We also have the provision of a Camping area, designed to accommodate in excess of 30 large Camping pitches.
Sorry we do not allow pets, with the exception of guide dogs.
Please note that the ground is undulating and naturally sloped in areas.

Oak Tree Lane is ideally presented to compliment social distancing; each yurt has its own independent and private field kitchen and shower room and our wooden cabins are self-contained and independent. Such facilities are highly favoured to those facilities which can only offer the provision of communal areas.
BOOKING WITH CONFIDENCE – A note for Campers!
Should you be considering to camp here at Oak Tree Lane, we now have the provision of extra additional shower rooms thus enabling campers to feel comfortable in the knowledge that they, too, no longer need to share such facilities. Yes your own private bathroom.
