Eggardon Hideaways Dorset and The Jurassic Coast
Eggardon Hideaways on The Jurassaic Coast near Bridport exudes rustic charm in one of England’s most stunning settings. Our beautiful shepherds huts and yurt, built here on the farm, await you. The glamping is nestled in amongst the trees of a small, secluded coppice on the side of an Iron-Age hill fort as part of North Eggardon Farm with breath-taking views, stretching to Lewesdon Hill and Golden Cap on the horizon.
Tucked behind Eggardon Hideaways, you will find the farm, where beautiful barns have been repurposed as workshops for a vibrant and rich community of makers and menders. The nearby workshops offer you the chance to learn new skills from local craftspeople; whether it be pottery, basket making, spoon carving, yurt making or flower arranging just get in contact and we will do our best to create your perfect experience.
Our site is so quiet its a nature lover’s dream where buzzards mew overhead and herds of deer move gracefully through the long grass and the dappled light of our woodlands, there is a white dear amongst the herd. Immerse yourself within the landscape, settle into a slower, deeper rhythm, and connect with nature as you walk Eggardon’s winding ways or gaze at the stars from the warmth of the fireside or comfort of your bed.
