Classic Camper Holidays is a family-run VW Campervan rental company based in the beautiful Scottish Borders, established in 2010, offering a friendly, yet professional service.
Heather and Whisky are our T6 VW Campervans. They each come complete with extensive standard equipment, plus there are a host of extras available for hire to make your holiday even easier.
Hiring a VW campervan is a great adventure and renting with us is without doubt the best way to enjoy the freedom of going where you like, when you like. Renting one of our campers will get you up close and personal with some of most stunning scenery and wildlife to be found in the UK. Scotland’s access legislation means you can pull up in your van just about anywhere, just so long as you act responsibly and follow The Outdoor Access Code. That means there’s no need to restrict yourself to staying at crowded camp sites. Find somewhere off the beaten track and wake up to a different, amazing view every morning!

MEET OUR CAMPERVANS
HEATHER & WHISKY are our VW T6 Campervans!
Both vans have very similar layouts: The double front passenger seat means that each van can seat up to 5 adults all with 3-point seat belts; they have room for 2 passengers plus the driver in the front, and 2 in the back. Our Campervans can sleep 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 children in the van with scope for more in an awning. Their pop-top roofs allow for more space to stand up and for up to 2 children or 1 adult sleeping in the roof beds (weight limit 12 1/2 stone), and the rock’n’roll bed downstairs sleeps up to 2 adults.
The double front passenger seats swivels to allow more seating whilst parked up. Our Campervan kitchens include cooker with 2 ring gas hob (Heather has a gas oven/grill, sink and generous fridge freezer along with lots of storage. Heather has an integral gas heater, Whisky has a Diesel heather, both vans have oil filled radiators for use with electric hookup to keep you warm whilst enjoying both wild camping, and campsite experiences during the cooler months!
Heathers parking sensor makes parking that little bit easier. Both vans Bluetooth stereo and sound system allow you to enjoy your music of choice while hitting the road. Heathers roof box provides extra storage.
We allow well-behaved pets in our Campervans and both are available from March until November, but we are open to requests for off season hires.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS
In addition to the standard equipment, also on offer is a selection of optional extras; from a tent awning to provide more space to a selection of travel games to entertain the children when you get there. RATES
Our basic rate includes comprehensive insurance for up to 3 drivers, Road Rescue and Roadside assistance cover, gas, free parking for your car plus our extensive equipment list. The only thing you may wish to pay extra for are our optional Extras, designed to make your holiday even easier!
