Breaks Fold Farm Shepherds Huts near Harrogate North Yorkshire
Breaks Fold Farm is the perfect base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales, Nidderdale AONB and the Washburn Valley. You can find our farm on the edge of the stunning Thruscross reservoir with excellent access to a multitude of local attractions and outdoor activities.
We are a non-commercial family run site, with a beautiful rural location with glamping in shepherd huts and also welcoming tents and small campervans for camping (family friendly). The farm is a working, traditional Yorkshire hill farm with sheep, cows, horses and hens, not to mention the huge amounts of local wildlife.
Our ethos is to provide great value for money, clean facilities and quality accommodation that everyone can enjoy on our traditional working hill farm. We thoroughly enjoy what we do and hope all our visitors enjoy the campsite and our other accommodation, as well as the beautiful surrounding area and many fantastic local attractions on offer.
SHEPHERDS HUTS
Stay in one of our three beautiful hand crafted cosy adult only Shepherds Huts, located in our field with their own very own private spaces, which was the original home of The Field of Dreams Glamping (Channel 4s, Carry on Glamping) with outstanding views across the fields, open water views of Thruscross, woodland and the surrounding Washburn Valley.
Sit on the hut balcony and drink in the views or watch the animals roam the land. Perfect!
SWALEDALE
In a lovely fresh green tone with Swaledale sheep theming. Swaledale sheep are at the heart of our farm, distinctive by their black faces and curled horns.
HERDWICK
In modern blue tones and Herdwick sheep theming. Named after our very own Herdys (or Houdinis as they are often up to no good), who often graze the surrounding fields.
WENSLEYDALE
Brand new for 2025…. A slightly larger hut, featuring king sized bed, larger kitchen area and more indoor space, perfect for longer stays. Named after the famous Wensleydale Longwool Breed.
The huts are suitable for up to 2 people (Adult only). Sorry no pets.
