The Old Summer Dairy is just 6 miles from Glastonbury in Somerset. Your group celebration and event is our top priority! We offer accommodation and a space which is exclusively yours for you to create a truly memorable experience, ideal for family gatherings, hen or hag parties, birthday celebrations, retreats or friends reunions. In total we can offer beds for up to 41 guests.
Our site is peaceful and secluded with stunning views to Glastonbury Tor making it a great place to escape from busy lives. There is wild swimming in the local river which is just a short walk from our fields. The glamping site also offers a vast space for games such as rounders, football and cricket as well as kite flying and cycling so feel free to bring your own games and activities. Our marquee also lends itself to games such as Twister or creative crafts for rainy days as well as a range of group activities.
Glamping for your group is in luxurious furnished bell tents, cabin, wagons and two vintage caravan surrounded by our own Nature Reserve and wildflower fields with far reaching views to Glastonbury Tor and the stunning Somerset countryside.
THE ACCOMMODATION
THE BELL TENTS
Exclusive and bespoke self-catering glamping experience in our secluded field where we have a timber framed shower/toilet and kitchen block with canvas awning and decking alongside our elegantly furnished 6m Bell Tents.
We have 5 fully furnished 6m bell tents which each have a double bed and 2 single mattresses and storage boxes.

THE CABIN
As shown on Channel 4’s ‘Cabins in the Wild’ Series with Dick Strawbridge and Will Hardie our Timber Framed Log Cabin offers a luxurious and quirky back to basics self- catering experience but with all mod cons. It also has it’s own garden area. The Log Cabin can be booked as a separate entity or added to larger group bookings. THE FIELD
The field is approximately 65 x 42m which gives plenty of scope to tailor your holiday to suit your own special requirements. We will happily discuss this with you to ensure your holiday or event meets all your expectations.
The space will be exclusively yours so you can enjoy complete privacy for your event or gathering without having to share with people you don’t know. The space allows for family holidays with fun games or for hen parties and birthdays with music, festivities and celebrations.
TIMBER BLOCK
The Timber framed block offers 2 toilets and 2 hot showers. In the kitchen there is a gas oven, large family fridge and workspace as well as a washing up sink. Crockery and cutlery is provided as are bedding, towels and toiletries.
ACTIVITIES
We have lists of Activities which other Groups have used for entertainment whilst here and we can recommend caterers, additional toilets, bar hire etc for larger Group bookings.
We can also offer peace, quiet and contemplation for groups wanting a Retreat and Counselling Workshops can be provided by Summer Dairy Counselling by request.

PRICES from
There is a basic package price of £1600 for up to 20 people for 2 nights and £1950 for 3 nights with additional accommodation priced separately for up to 41 people.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not on mains electricity here due to our remote location but we have enough electricity for everyday use such as lighting and phones. Generators are easy to source for any high output electrical equipment if this is required.
