Warm days and holidays are marked by the opening of the shed in front of the farm shop, which serves up ice creams made from our cows’ milk, delicious drinks including coffees, teas and smoothies, and a selection from the café menu.
Tables and chairs in front of the farm shop are the perfect spot to relax with your food and drink.
FARM SHOP
The farm shop shelves reflect our passion for farming, food and the countryside and offer you the chance to do your grocery shopping the local way, pick up some treats, or grab something tasty to take out.
Much of the local produce we have in the shop can’t be found anywhere else. Cumbria has a fantastic array of food, some with special status like Cumberland Sausage, Lyth Valley Damsons, Herdwick lamb and Morecambe Bay Shrimps.
You can also taste the herd’s raw milk, which is dispensed from a vending machine in front of the farm shop and just yards from the milking parlour. It’s an outstanding whole food: creamy, rich, nutritious and delicious.
OUR MILK

Watch the cows being milked from 3.30pm daily. A scratch behind the ears over the parlour’s half door is welcome.
