Felin Geri in West Wales with Hot Tub offers a getaway in luxury en-suite Safari Lodges in the idyllic wooded Ceri valley. The glamping site is alive with Welsh history and is situated in a naturalist’s paradise with wildlife, woodland, water and night time dark skies.
Our seven accommodation options are well spread across our 28 acre site and including 8 & 6 person luxury safari tents, 4 person bell tents and a traditional Welsh cottage which sleeps 5.
A holiday at Felin Geri allows you to park your car, switch off and, if you want to, leave the world behind for a moment in time. Wake up and go to sleep to the sound of birdsong, in our comfy beds. Do as little or as much as you want. Just soak in the hot tub, read a book on the veranda or by the fire. You don’t have to go far with activities, café and bar on site or just take a stroll along the riverbank or up into the woodlands.
There are many places of interest to visit in the surrounding area of West Wales. You can enjoy discovering the local area with your pet by your side well behaved dogs are welcome at Felin Geri There are many dog friendly beaches along the Cardigan Bay coast plus miles of footpaths to explore in the surrounding area.
We have tried to think of everything to make your stay as carefree as possible. No need to worry about food as The Pantry and the Café can supply all that you need so your day gets off to a relaxing start.

Bill & Ben are both 4 person bell tents with private shower room & flushing loo.

THE SAFARI LODGES
The guaranteed luxury of each lodge ensures you will be dry and snug whatever the weather while not missing out on that special ‘close to nature’ feel that camping gives you.
The sleeping areas
- King size double bedroom

- Scottish cabin bed for two
- Camnant also has an additional bedroom with bink beds
Included in your stay
- Quality linen, duvets, pillows and towels (please bring your own swimming towels for offsite use). If you take up the option of the hot tub, towels are provided for that too
- Hot water bottles (Just in case!)
- A shower room and toilet located at the back of each tent
- Hot water is provided by a wood fired boiler
- Kitchen Area with running water
- All you should need for self-catering – cooking utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glassware plus the essential extras such as kitchen roll, Cling film, foil and bin bags
- Selection of basic condiments and a small herb garden
- Wood burning stove that doubles up as an oven and stove hot plate
- Cool box and Freezer blocks for your supplies
- Emergency lighting in each tent but for general use there are rechargeable battery powered hurricane lamps with carrying handles
- Traditional board games such as Scrabble and Monopoly and Lego for both big and little kids to play with
On arrival you will find milk in your cool box and a supply of tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits as a welcome pack.
You can pre-order Breakfast and Barbecue packs and any pre-ordered supplies will be in the Pantry fridge, ready for you to pick up.
OUTSIDE
Each tent has a covered veranda that provides you with the opportunity to make the most of being close to nature and to enjoy eating meals alfresco while watching and listening to local wildlife. The area around each tent allows plenty of space for children to play safely and within view while parents relax.
MILLERS COTTAGE
Miller’s Cottage is a traditional Welsh self catering cottage set in the beautiful grounds of luxury glamping site Felin Geri. Featuring a cosy open plan lounge-diner with a log burning stove, Miller’s Cottage offers space for families and friends to relax, in a home from home setting.
Miller’s Cottage can sleep 5 across two spacious double bedrooms and a smaller single bedroom. With an upstairs bathroom and a toilet downstairs for added convenience, a fully equipped kitchen, hot and cold water, a private garden for al fresco dining and the option to book a spa style hot tub, guests will want for nothing in this lovely cottage.
DOGS
Well behaved dogs are welcome (maximum of 2 per tent) but must be kept under control and must not be left unsupervised at any time. Please don’t allow dogs onto any soft furnishings or beds.
A Plastic washable dog bed (correct size for your dog) is available on request. You provide your dog’s favourite blanket so that they settle into their holiday as quickly as you do.
THE PANTRY
Locally sourced produce can be ordered by email or phoning us before you leave home so there is food ready for you to pick up from the Pantry on your arrival. Please order at least 24 hours before your arrival. West Wales is renowned for small producers and so your eggs, bacon, burgers, sausages
and vegetables will all come from local farms and small holdings. Bread, cakes and pastries are also all locally made.
Premium food packs can be ordered for breakfast, picnics and BBQ suppers, again allow 24 hours delivery
THE MILL CAFE AND BAR
For those of you that need to keep one eye on business while still enjoying a relaxing, peaceful break, the Mill Café and Bar is the only place at Felin Geri where there is WIFI access (free). The bar gives you the opportunity to socialise while checking your emails, meeting up with others staying at Felin Geri. Stocking and selling a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, adults can chat while children play in the safe area outside.
Food is available in the cafe during the day, from cooked breakfast, light lunches to evening meals. The wood fired Pizza oven is lit at least twice a week and delicious individual stone baked Pizzas are made to order. While you are waiting sit around the Dragon ball Fire Pit while supping on a glass of Wine or Pint of chilled Beer or Cider.
Subject to demand the Mill runs a Cheese and Wine tasting night with wines selected from the menu and locally made cheeses for you to try.
SPA STYLE HOT TUBS
Both Ceri and Camnant have our spa style hot tubs ( currently electric powered), and have various massage jets to help you unwind and relax. These are heated and available for your private use at your Safari Tent at all times. The water quality is maintained by the addition of stabilising chemicals including chlorine and they are checked regularly by our on-site team.
The use of this hot tub is included in the price.
Aeron and Teifi have our optional, Scandinavian wood burning hot tubs. These amazing hot tubs are like having a bath under the stars! There are almost no chemicals, the fresh water is heated by a log burning stove and is changed for each use. This does mean we need notice if you wish to use the hot tub as we will fill it for you. It takes a couple of hours to heat the water to the desired temperature.
There is an additional charge for the use of this hot tub.
ACTIVITIES
It’s possible to enjoy your stay at Felin Geri without ever having to get in the car as there are numerous activities to take part in, some more strenuous than others. The river Ceri runs alongside Felin Geri’s fields. Designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) it is the perfect place to relax while waiting to see what wildlife appears. Sightings of otters and kingfishers along the river itself are possible, plus buzzards, red kites, owls hooting at night and many other bird species regularly seen. Or take a walk through Felin Geri’s woodland where there are seasonal wild orchids and bluebells to be enjoyed. Bridle paths and footpaths are also accessible from Felin Geri if you want to take a longer hike. A beautiful waterfall is just a short walk away.
STARGAZING
Make the most of West Wales’ dark skies which give the opportunity for star gazing on a clear night.
CAMPING SPACE
Joe’s Land is a secluded area where adults and children can enjoy nature at its best. Rough camping allows you to sleep away from the main site in a two person tent for the night, complete with basic BBQ. It is the perfect space for teenagers to experience some freedom or for bonding between parent and child.
TEAM SPORTS
We can provide archery equipment and also a variety of team sports can be played on the open field near the café; football, cricket and rounders.
TREEHOUSE The treehouse and play fort is a safe, fenced off area for children close to the café and bar.
In the ACTIVITY SHED there is the chance to play the table game War Hammer, perfect for keeping adults and children entertained on rainy days.
COMMUNAL BBQs can be arranged subject to the weather and demand, held near the bar and café area and perfect to get to know other guests or if you are hiring out all of our tents with friends, family or work colleagues. Gather round the dragon fire ball while enjoying a stone baked pizza from the Felin Geri wood fired Pizza oven.
LOCAL AREA
While Felin Geri is the perfect escape from modern life, it is not too remote being one and a half miles from the lovely market town of Newcastle Emlyn with its range of shops, galleries and the weekly cattle and sheep markets that provide you with a glimpse of traditional Welsh life.
Felin Geri lies in the county of Ceredigion but is on the border of both Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, making it the ideal base to explore the beautiful and largely unspoilt area of South West Wales.
The closest coastline is Cardigan Bay, with the town of Cardigan only a 15 minute drive away and under 30 minutes from the pretty seaside holiday town of Newquay and the elegant harbour town of Aberaeron with its colourfully painted Georgian houses and growing reputation for good food.
There are many beautiful beaches along the Cardigan Bay and Pembrokeshire coastlines, several of them with the blue flag that is only awarded to the cleanest, safest and best beaches in the UK. Cardigan Bay is famous for dolphins, porpoises and seals and boat trips can be taken along the coast so that you can experience the best of the coastline and marine life close up.
If you are interested in tasting locally produced food, there are food and fish festivals during the summer and numerous outlets for locally grown produce; farm shops and honesty shops by the side of the road.
Other interesting places to visit during your stay include
- Cenarth, only 4 miles away, has a magnificent waterfall and is home to the National Coracle Centre
- Llanachaeron Estate, owned by the National Trust, features a beautifully restored Georgian villa
- The Welsh Wildlife Centre at the Teifi Marshes and Cardigan is the home of the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales
- Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire coastal paths
- The Preseli Mountains within a short drive
- Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm for families
