Glamping Shropshire

The Acorns in Shropshire is relaxing peaceful romantic break for adults only and five glamping options including a luxury silo cabin, safari caravan, airstream caravan, quirky hoopla tent and bow top caravan. Everything is provided to make your stay a place to experience the outdoors. It’s a camping experience with a bit of glamour!

Each glamping accommodation gives you your own private area away from the rest of the world with no traffic noise, just the sounds of the birds and the countryside. Just yourselves in your own idyllic home from home.

In the evening you can build a campfire, create a romantic atmosphere with flickering tea lights and drink a glass of wine. Enjoy the peace and quiet and watch out for shooting stars!
You may wander around the numerous woodland pathways and sit by a secluded pond. The wildlife here is abundant.

The Grain Silo is located in its own secluded private setting by a wild life pond. The interior of the silo is like a furnished circular spacious hotel room and includes

    The wagon has been refurbished adding new cladding and paint work and sleeps 2.

    We have two one night stay caravans, Marilyn is a small cute caravan most suited for an anniversary night. With a pretty teashop theme. The Tradewind American Airstream is a vintage very spacious caravan,the large table is great for board games or jigsaw enthusiasts!!



    The new airstream sleeps 2 and is the latest addition to our vintage site situated on our camping field. Includes

    • wash basin and toilet in the Airstream caravan
    • shared outside toilet located nearby

    The hut was built on an old hay wagon and campers are invited to play and partake in a variety of crafts! Roz is a qualified teacher and is a professed craftoholic. She has dabbled in knitting, weaving, felting and crochet!

    You will be in a beautiful peaceful location. We are located in the countryside amongst cycle trails and lanes. There are nearby popular tourist attractions, designer outlet, towpath walks, pretty towns, historic castles, walled towns and there is so much to see and visit in the surrounding area. Shropshire is a magical county and there is something for everyone. We will be happy to give you lots ideas of places to visit. We can recommend some lovely restaurants, castles, walks and places of interest.

    Nearby tourist towns include..
    The walled town of Chester, historic Shrewsbury,town of museums Ironbridge, market town Oswestry,
    And in the area of outstanding beauty, the Shropshire Hills towns of Ludlow, Church Stretton and Bishops Castle.
    But not too far away is the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and the canal town of Llangollen, the gateway to the mountains of North Wales

    The area around Ellesmere is like a mini Lake district with nine local Meres, a walkers and nature lovers dream! However there are two local pubs a couple of miles away and for some people glamping offers time to relax with a drink in their new getaway space away from the towns and city lights.
