Take a glamping break at Gorsebank Camping Village in stunning Dumfries and Galloway, in south west of Scotland.  Stay in a Glamping Pod with Hot Tub, Wigwam, Timber Tent or Land Pod in 80 acres of meadows and woodland acres of countryside and close to the Solway coastline. With the accommodation thoughtfully spaced out and nestled in with nature the small wooden cabins will give you privacy and a feel of the wilderness. Or, if you prefer you can pitch your own tent in our wild camping area or for larger groups stay in the Bothy.

Our two Posh Pods with Wood-fired Hot Tubs are equipped with a kettle, small fridge, heater, lighting and spare power point. Comfy foam mattresses can be laid out on the floor with space to sleep up to 4. Outside is a sliding canopy with a Wood-fired Hot Tub, dining table and chairs plus a wood-burning chimnea.
Sorry, no dogs in the posh pods.

JUMBO POD WITH OPTIONAL HOT TUB – Sleeping up to 4 people

The pods are heated, have lights, power points, a small fridge and kettle. You sleep on the carpeted floor on two double pull-out foam chair/beds. Outside, you have a decking area, picnic table and firepit.
Dogs welcome (maximum of 2)

WIGWAMS – Sleeping up to 5 people
Our four Wigwams are located on a tree lined bank near a duck pond and are our largest camping cabins, sleeping up to 5 people. During the day, you have benches and a coffee table which, at night, forms a sleeping deck with foam mattresses. Complete with lights and power points, they have windows and a lockable door. Each of the heated wigwams is equipped with a small fridge, kettle and microwave. Outside, there is a picnic table and a firepit.
Dogs welcome (maximum of  2)

RIDGE PODS – Sleeping up to 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 younger children
Our 2 Ridge Pods are located to give you great views of the site, farmland and neighbouring forest. Although ideal for couples, they will accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 younger children. Sleeping is on fold out foam chair/beds on the carpeted floor. TIMBER TENTS – Sleeping up to 2/3 people (2 adults or 1 adult and 2 children)
Our two Timber Tents are our smaller, basic camping cabins that accommodate 2 adults or 1 adult and 2 children, sleeping on the wooden floor (bring either an inflatable mattress or camping mats). They are extremely well insulated, have a double-glazed window and lockable door. They also have a power point, light and heater. Internally, the timber tents measure approx 9ft x 6ft and are over 6ft high. Outside, you have a picnic table and firepit.
Dogs welcome (maximum of 2)

LANDPODS – Sleeping 2
A bit more than a normal tent, these pods will have you sleeping up off the cold floor, cocooned in a pretty unique little off grid shelter. There are foam flooring mats for sleeping on, you can bring an inflatable mattress or additional roll out camping mats.  With it’s sliding wooden door and ability to open up the canvas sides 2 people can experience the great outdoors in a special, memorable place. Not only are the Landpods pretty special but so are the locations we’ve sited them in. With outdoor wood fired stove, solar powered light and waterproof storage locker for boots and coats, you feel fully nestled in with nature.

Pack your items in a rucksack as you’ll have to walk up to 150 metres to your location from the car park. You’ll be in the Dark Skies area of our site so pack a good quality torch. Also bring matches, bin bags, cool bag (we can refreeze ice packs at the farmhouse) and remember a good quality sleeping bag and inflatable pillow.

Your land pod is equipped with an outdoor wood burning stove, allowing you to cook or boil water. You can of course bring your own gas stove, but either way remember to pack your kettle, pans/mess kit.

Sorry but no pets in the Landpods.
