Travellers Rest offers luxury glamping in South Devon. Travellers Rest is set within beautiful woodland surrounding a lake, too perfect a spot not to share. Forget the outside world whilst enjoying the sound of the spring feeding the lake from a Gypsy cabin hidden within the woodland of our farm. The perfect getaway, secluded and peaceful and without compromise.
The farm is part of an environmental scheme, providing environments for rare birds and other British wildlife. This keeps the landscape varied and includes features such as a traditional orchard. Each season brings something different to see from bouncing lambs in spring to harvest time in autumn. Our aim is to make the most of seasonal and local produce, offering the best we can find from farms and businesses to share with visitors as well as our own produce.
Hidden within the trees of the woodland are our bespoke Gypsy cabins. Each cabin has its own private glade to enjoy, featuring a fire pit and stunning views of the lake and surrounding countryside.
Inside our cabins you will find everything you need for your perfect getaway. You don’t have to completely leave the outside world behind, sink into sleep in our memory foam topped beds and each cabin is kitted with lights and charging points. All towels and bed linen are provided. The bathroom block hosts two en-suite rooms with eco-friendly compost toilets and luxurious showers.
Travellers Rest invites adults only to guarantee a tranquil getaway – without the worries of chaos in holiday season.
Amenities in all Caravans include
