Glamping Cumbria with Hot Tub
Wallace Lane Farm in Caldbeck Cumbria on the edge of The Lake District, offers three different types of glamping, all situated on its 23-acre site with magnificent views towards the Solway Firth and the Scottish Highlands.
TREEHOUSE CABIN with Hot Tub
Our Treehouse Cabin is our most luxurious cabin, situated in the old farm orchard next to the valley and stream that runs through the farm. Fully insulated and double glazed with full eco-friendly heating system the cabin is available all year round.
Sleeping four people (plus) the Treehouse Cabin is larger than our other glamping cabins at 6m by 5m.
The cabins are equipped with the following –
- Double bedroom with TV/DVD and door to decking
- Second bedroom with bunk beds and fitted wardrobe
- All bedding and towels for 4 people
- Large leather corner sofa bed
- Oak dining table and 4 chairs
- Kitchen storage unit with drawer, cupboard and worktop
- Sink with hot and cold water
- Gas cooker with oven hob and grill
- Fridge with small freezer compartment
- Microwave oven
- Charging points
- Gas kettle plus a range of pans
- Crockery and Cutlery
- Knives and various kitchen utensils, chopping board and bowls
- Sweeping brushes and vacuum cleaner
- Rugs and large sliding patio door to rear decking area
- Wall-mounted 32-inch flat screen TV with full freeview
- A free basket of logs and bag of kindling is provided more can be purchased if required
OUTSIDE AREA
The cabin has a wooden decking to the rear overlooking valley and trees
A table and four plastic chairs are provided plus two reclining chairs
Parking is available close to the cabin for two cars
A further area of lawns and woodland with room for small tent if required
A hot tub is to be fitted by early 2017 for cabin use
OUR THREE SHEPHERDS CABINS
Made of wooden logs each cabin is approximately 4m x 5.25m. The Shepherd’s Cabins are available all year round sleeping 4 (or more if you bring your own airbed or tent). They are situated at the top of our camping field and have fantastic views over the Solway Plain and sea. They have fully insulated floors and ceilings with solid wood walls for a cosy stay all year round.
The cabins are equipped with the following:
- Lounge/Sleeping areas
- Either two sofa beds or double bed and bunkbed, sleeping 4 in total
- Duvet and covers sheets, pillows and covers and spare blankets
- Dining table and 4 chairs
- Small coffee table
- Bedside table and lamps
- Wall and ceiling lighting mains powered
- Large rug on wooden polished floor
- Wood burning stove
- Small book shelves with TV and freeview
- Kitchen/dining area
- Camp kitchen hob with four burners

Parking is available next to the cabin for up to 2 cars
GLAMPING TENTS
Our fully equipped tents accommodate up to 4 people. The classic frame tents are available from May through to Mid October. Bedding is provided including duvet and cover, pillow and cover, and sheets. Towels are not provided in tents. The tent is set on a wooden decking and has cushion floor covering for ease of cleaning.
The tents are equipped with the following:
- Double sleeping compartment with double bed with double duvet and two pillows
- Bedding can be provided at an extra charge if required
- No light is provided in the double bed area so torch is recommended
- Twin/triple sleeping compartment with two single beds and foam futon
- Two single duvets and one pillow per bed are provided (not for Foam Bed)
- Single mains powered lamp is provided in this bedroom area only
- Kitchen/dining area
- Round plastic table and four chairs (for inside and outside use)
- Pine storage unit
- Two burner gas cooker with grill
- Kitchen storage unit
- Full-size fridge with small freezer compartment and ice tray
- Microwave oven
- Kettle for gas stove plus a range of pans
- Crockery and Cutlery
- Various kitchen utensils, chopping board and bowls
- Mop and bucket sweeping brush and dust pan
- This area has two electric lights and one spare socket for charging phones etc. The electric supply will not run an electric heater or heavy use appliance

FACILITIES
Two toilets are close to the glamping accommodation plus washing up area
Further toilets and showers are at the other end of the camping field all free
Washing and drying facilities are available for small charge £2.50 each
Free wifi is available on the camping field and in most tents and cabins.
Our 23-acre farm is available to all and is ideal for children and campers with pets.
Local shops pubs and other visitor attractions all within a short distance.

Wallace Lane Farm is situated high in the magnificent Northern lakes, on the fringe of the Lake District National Park, close to the villages of Caldbeck, Hesket Newmarket and Uldale.

Glamping Tent from £110 per night for 4 people (extra people charged at £10 per night -please provide own air bed or tent and bedding)
Minimum stay 2 nights at the weekend
Pets Welcome in the Cabins at £2.50 per night (maximum of 2 per cabin)
