Glamping in Woolacombe Devon

Europa Park is situated on the beautiful coast of North Devon, offering Glamping and a range of other accommodation. The three-mile stretch of golden sand beach faces the Atlantic Ocean and is a popular destination for surfing, as well as part of the North Devon Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Lifeguards ensure safe family swimming during the summer and surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves and clean water.

Visitors of all ages will find plenty to do away from the beach. There’s a friendly, laid-back atmosphere here which keeps people coming back time after time. Europa is Woolacombe’s definitive party site. Join us in our stunning location, with hundreds of like-minded guests for an adrenaline-fuelled holiday like no other.


SURF CABINS – Sleeping 2 to 6
The Surf Cabins are the perfect choice if you’re looking for somewhere in Woolacombe to get your head down that isn’t under canvas. Made from wood, they are warm, dry and cosy whatever the weather.  Sleeping from 2 – 6 people, there is a size to fit any group and great for the not so experienced camper.

Surf Shacks include:

  • Beds
  • TV
  • Beer fridge
  • Kettle
  • Heater
  • Decking

You’ll just need to bring along a sleeping bag and pillows.

SURF PODS – Sleeping 2
Visiting solo or as a couple? Our Surf Pods are the size and height of a two man dome tent, but with the comfort of a mattress, heater and plug socket to charge your phone.
A popular choice with our guests, they are made of wood and include:

  • Double bed
  • Heater
  • Beer fridge
  • Kettle

Please note that you cannot stand up in this accommodation.

SURF LODGES – Sleeping 2 to 9 people
Popular with large groups visiting Woolacombe, our Surf Lodges are great if you are looking for accommodation with separate bedrooms.

Surf Lodges include:

  • Two double beds and five singles
  • Kitchenette (sink, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave)
  • Lounge area with TV
  • Gas fire
  • Shower room and toilet
  • Pay and Go electricity

You’ll just need to bring along cups, plates, cutlery and bedding. Some lodges have patio doors opening on to your own private decking area with stunning sea views.

Our bar is well stocked with the most up to date and popular choices such as Carlsberg, San Miguel, Gaymers Pear Cider, Corona, Sourz, Tequila, Sambuca and The Jagermeister Machine.

Located at the entrance to the park, our Spar shop and petrol filling station and is well stocked with all the holiday essentials. From beers & wines, to sweets and chocolate, as well as BBQ packs, daily newspapers, magazines, tobacco and toiletries, you’ll find everything you need to make the most of your stay.

Looking for fast food in Woolacombe? Look no further than our Spar shop, which offers a takeaway service for burgers, hot dogs, pastries, hot chickens and pizzas. Open until 10pm during low season and 3am in high season (weekends).

We also have plenty of pool tables and fruit machines.

Woolacombe beach is an impressive stretch of golden sands boasting safe swimming and fantastic surfing conditions, making it a favourite for everyone. Not only perfect for surfing breaks, the beach here also has facilities available for windsurfing, canoeing, sailing and kite surfing.

Europa Park has teamed up with local Surf School, Nick Thorn Surf Coaching. Based just a short walk away from Woolacombe beach, they offer everything including lessons, private lessons, coaching and kids club. They hire out all the gear from boards to wetsuits. Nick will even give you a discount if you take your green copy of your registration with you and tell him you’re staying at Europa Park.

Our clubhouse is the ideal party venue and we can cater for all types of groups including Stag and Hen parties. We can also offer private parties and functions during low season, including Christmas parties. During July and August we have live bands most weekends during July and August.

Looking for breakfast in Woolacombe? You can get a fantastic all you can eat breakfast everyday during high season and at weekends during standard season.

We can offer also offer a Continental Breakfast including a selection of cereals, toast, jam and butter. Our evening menu is usually available from 5.30pm until 9pm and consists of a wide variety of dishes, from traditional favourites such as homemade lasagne to a hot curry.

We have an indoor heated swimming pool – ideal if the sea isn’t as warm as you’d hoped! It’s open to all guests everyday from 10am – 9pm from Easter to the end of October.

We do not employ a lifeguard so children are to be strictly supervised by an adult.

WOOLACOMBE – The Local Area
Woolacombe is a small village with some great village amenities such as surf, food and clothes shops as well as takeaways, pubs, restaurants and nightclubs, not to mention the award winning Woolacombe beach!

There is plenty to see and do, but first you need to decide whether you want to be on land or at sea! Don’t forget to visit the ice cream shop for fantastic local ice creams, while there’s the Red Barn for traditional pub food or The Electric for something a bit more special. If it is takeaway you would prefer, why not pick up some dinner from Woolacombe Fish and Chip shop and take a walk to the beach!

North Devon is well located for exploring the South West Coast Path and there are plenty of fantastic walks local to Woolacombe. It’s not just all about walks though: there are plenty of activities to do, such as surfing, paintballing and quad biking.

The stunning local area has lots to offer. Visit the quaint villages of Lynton and Lynmouth with nice art and gift shops or take a trip out to Exmoor and lunch at the Hunters Inn, followed by a stroll to Headons Mouth.

If it’s a bit of retail therapy you are looking for head to Atlantic Village or Barnstaple High Street and Green Lanes Shopping Centre for a varied selection of popular shops, such as Marks and Spencer and Monsoon.

If it’s trendy designer clothes you are looking for try the Surgery and Eden for Bench, Diesel, Superdry and much more.

Get on your bike and adventure along The Tarka Trail route 27 runs throughout North Devon. If you need to hire bikes you can do so in Braunton, and from there decide if you want to go to Barnstaple, Bideford, or even back to Woolacombe and Ilfracombe – it’s your holiday!

If it’s a pet friendly holiday your are looking for then you are in luck: not only are your pets welcome at Europa, but Woolacombe Beach is one of few that allows man’s best friend to enjoy the beach all year round.

Europa is famous for it’s parties including St Patrick’s Day, Halloween, New Years Eve and Valentine’s Day. We welcome well behaved single male or female groups, Stags, Hens and surfing groups. We offer unmissable deals on food and drinks (our 2 for 1 Happy Hour is a favourite with all our guests), as well as evening entertainment and special requests by arrangement. You can really have a party to remember here at Europa, be it with a sore head!
