We appreciate the essential need for comfort after a day of walking around the pits and paddocks of the Goodwood events and although we hold heritage close to our hearts the interiors are anything but dated. Laura Audley, co-founder and owner of Portobello Tents with a decade of experience in the interior design world has turned her hand to create our beautiful boutique camping tents, spurred on by her love of the great outdoors.

We have car parking on site with personalised spaces and supercar access, accommodation within our luxury bell tents, a reception tent, 24 hour stewards and security, luxury toilets and showers, and The Folly Lounge.
At the Folly Lounge is a stunning Indian period tent where you will enjoy a fantastic dining and entertainment experience as well as a room in which to relax. It’s the centrepiece of The Grand Folly Hotel!
Included in the cost of your stay is a full breakfast each morning with English and continental options, a three course evening meal with wine, and a different world theme every night. Food is prepared on site by local Goodwood institution, The Anglesey Arms who have been been providing five star dining to visitors and locals for many years.

Halnaker is a tything in Boxgrove parish in the district of Chichester, West Sussex. The manor has passed through a number of families including the St. Johns, the Poynings, the Delawarrs and then the Morleys however now belongs to the Duke of Richmond. The Duke of Richmond is the father of The Earl of March who lives at and runs Goodwood.
Goodwood House is southwest of the village. The beautiful Halnaker windmill stands 128m up on Halnaker Hill, to the North of the village and is considered a southern outpost of the South Downs. Halnaker is also mentioned in the Domesday Book under Sussex in the lands belonging to Earl Roger.
