Glamping Scotland

Our Traditional handmade glamping Yurt in Scotland situated on The Isle of Gigha is off-grid and the only glamping style accommodation on the Island, surrounded by blue sea and white sandy beaches. The yurt is set in our private garden along side our chickens, herbs and vegetables and furnished with comfortable beds and a cozy wood burning stove. A true getaway!

We live in the adjacent house and both work in our shop, the only one on the Island also next door. We are available to our guests all day and spend some time tending the garden and seeing to the chickens.

THE YURT – Sleeps 4
Our six meter diameter handcrafted Mongolian Yurt includes futon beds sleeping 4 in total. All the beds fold up easily for ample seating through the day. A central wood burning stove will ensure a cozy stay even if the weather takes a turn.

The yurt includes

  • A double futon and two single futons
  • All linen, bedding and towels (discount available to those that prefer to bring their own)
  • Two traditional Mongolian chests
  • Dining table and chairs
  • All crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans
  • Use of large BBQ grill for cooking outside
  • Large outdoor stainless steel sink unit for washing up
  • Woodburning stove with small supply of logs

A small gas stove is available to supplement
