Glamping Glastonbury Somerset
Middlewick Holiday Cottages in Somerset is a complex of Glamping cabins and twelve holiday cottages based at the foot of the Glastonbury Tor. Middlewick is in a spectacular location, sitting by the ancient oak trees Gog and Maggog which are thought to be the entrance to the ancient Isle of Avalon, and backing onto Glastonbury Tor. It has unrivalled views across the Somerset levels to Cheddar George and the Mendip Hills. It is a peaceful and tranquil location in an area steeped in history, myth and legend. Nestled in a sixteen acre blend of gardens, horse paddocks and orchard, Middlewick is a wonderful place to relax, with the added bonus of a heated indoor swimming pool and steam room. Our E-dens have also been featured on George Clarks Amazing Spaces show on Channel 4.
THE LUXURY E-DEN CAMPING CABINS
We have 3 luxury E-den Camping Cabins. Each features a full size double bed (looking up to the stars through the large Velux window) in a Glamping cabin with deck to front and awning. They all have their respective private bathrooms are fully insulated, double glazed and have heating to keep you snug even when it is chilly out. The view from each cabin is up towards Glastonbury Tor, a special location and view.
The E-dens are located in a quiet paddock to the rear of Middlewick with lovely path leading the way. We have named them Adam, Eve and Apple as they are located right by some of our ancient apple trees. If you are here in the autumn you will have endless apples to forage and eat.
Each E-den includes
- Crisp white bedding
- Fluffy white towels
- Your own private shower room for added luxury between 10m and 30m away
- BBQ (please provide your own own fuel)
- Outdoor bean bag
- Table and chairs
- Mini fridge
- Crockery, utensils
- Use of washing facilities
For peace and tranquillity there are no TV’s in our Edens.
You can bring your own camping stove. All cooking must be done outside of the E-dens.
